Description

Lateral Thinking is a problem-solving method first described by Edward de Bono as an alternative to the conventional “vertical logic” of many problem solving approaches. There are multiple approaches that fall under the Lateral Thinking method; they each involve making non-obvious or even random connections between the problem and other situations. These new connections force a person to change their perspective, and this can lead to new ideas.
