Description

TRIZ is a Russian acronym that is translated in English as the “Theory of Inventive Problem Solving”; it was developed by Genrich Altshuller and his colleagues as a systematic approach to problem solving. It is a collection of principles, methods, and tools that can be used in a variety of industries and situations to deliver results. One popular application of TRIZ is “patent breaking”, in which different TRIZ techniques are applied to identify weaknesses in an existing patent that can be leveraged to create new patentable inventions.
